- 3. leave utopik tints to process during 30 minutes, once the application is finished. in the case of utopik red the processing time should be 35 minutes.
- 4. it is essential to respect these processing times.
b) successive applications on tinted hair and processing times. retouches of roots:
- 1. for the corresponding mixtures, follow the instructions outlined previously.
- 2. spread the tint over the roots starting from the occipital area (nape) towards the forehead.
- 3. leave to process for a maximum of 30 minutes.
- 4. depending on the judgment of the colouring professional, the colour can be passed to the ends as follows:
-
- the colour of the lengths and ends is slightly altered: spread the mixture over the mid-lengths and ends 5 minutes before the end of the processing time or apply a light emulsion with water.
- if the colour of the mid-lengths and ends is fairly altered (washed-out undertone), spread the mixture 20 minutes after the start of the processing time and leave to act for 10 minutes in utopik tints and 15 minutes for utopik red tints.
- if the colour of the mid-lengths and ends is greatly altered (loss of undertone up to one tone lighter): spread the mixture immediately.
coloured hair: coloured hair means hair that has been tinted previously.
if this hair must be tinted again and the depth of tone is darker than the colour chosen or has a different undertone, it will be necessary to perform a wash or a de-layering (decolouring).
